Frankenmuth, the “Little Bavaria” of Michigan was founded in 1845 with the intention of serving as a home to European pioneers in the United States. Aligning with the intent of its founder, Frederick Wyneken, Frankenmuth is now also home to NoWo, bringing pioneers with Europe rumbling under their hood together.

Whether you’re looking to show off your ride, enjoy the surroundings, or simply have a good time, NoWo is the place to be. Come one, come all, NoWo is open to everyone as the scene, people, and cars make up an authentic European experience for all that attend.

The Michigan Vintage VW Club invites you to a VW car show — ALL VWs WELCOME!
* $5 for adults (16 & under free w/adult)
* Watch an exciting day of racing
* Drive parade laps on the track in your own car at lunchtime for $5
* There are bleachers but we recommend bringing a folding chair.
* There’s a concession stand for food, soft drinks, and beer, and
Vintage Munk’s will buy the first beer or soft drink for MVVC members.
* Dogs are welcome on leashes; bear in mind that it gets LOUD.

THE ALGONAC/CLAY TWP HISTORICAL MUSEUM STAFF WILL BE BACK, ACTING AS DOCENTS TO MAKE THE MISS AMERICA X DISPLAY ENJOYABLE FOR ALL.  Look for it INDOORS in the Tank Test building, where some Packards will be displayed along with Miss America X and a display of historic Packard marine engines.  Tank Test is the tallest building on the site, near the DJ and the FOOD.

Saturday morning, please plan to arrive at the Okemos Auto Collection location on Jolly Road, just west of Okemos Road at 9:00 or shortly thereafter.

At 10:00 there will be a caravan ride to Frankenmuth, where Okemos Auto Collection has graciously set the table for a barbecued chicken lunch. That will be at the Fortress Golf Course Pavilion in downtown Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Maps for the route will be available at the dealership.

Perhaps this trip affords an opportunity for some to get in some early Christmas shopping in this great City!
